Candy Award Ribbon
Let your kids know how special they are by awarding them their own medal!
What you'll need:
- Your favorite Mars candies, such as M&M'S® Brand Milk Chocolate Candies FUN SIZE®, SNICKERS®, MILKY WAY®, TWIX®, SKITTLES®, 3 MUSKETEERS® Brand Miniatures and STARBURST® Brand Fruit Chews
- Wide ribbon
- Felt or construction paper
- Markers
- Scissors
- Double-sided tape
What to do:
- Cut a length of ribbon to fit comfortably over a kid's head.
- Gather two ends and place them one over the other, taped together underneath. Then tape a circle cut from paper or felt over this.
- Using marker or felt letters, label as "Fastest Runner" or "Best Kid to Toss a Softball With," etc. Embellish the "medallion" with glitter to make it sparkle. Decorate the ribbon by taping on your favorite Mars candy.
- Award as a prize for winning a race or doing an activity, or just as a gift for being a special kid.
- If in a group of kids, be sure every kid gets a medal.
