Apple Tree Cookies
These colorful cookies grow with flavor and fun.

What you'll need:
  • 1 bag M&M’S® Brand Milk Chocolate Candies
  • 1 bag TWIX® Brand FUN SIZE® Bars, unwrapped
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 16-oz. can vanilla frosting
  • 1 18-oz. roll sugar cookie dough
What to do:
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Knead sugar cookie dough with the flour until smooth. Roll dough to 1/4-inch thickness. Using the cookie cutter, press out 10 cookie shapes. Then, using the printable template as a guide, cut the remaining cookie dough into 10 tree trunk shapes.
  3. Place the flower-shaped cookies on a baking sheet. Press one tree trunk on each cookie to make a tree.
  4. Bake one cookie sheet at a time for 10-12 minutes, or until golden brown. Cool completely.
  5. Remove cookies from the cookie sheets. Add green food coloring to the frosting until it’s the desired shade of green. Spread the frosting over the treetops.
  6. Press on M&M’S® Brand Milk Chocolate Candies.
  7. Spread a small amount of frosting on each trunk, and then put a TWIX® Brand FUN SIZE® Bar over it.
Tip: You can use the printable pattern instead of the cookie cutter to create the entire Apple Tree shape in steps 2 and 3.
Makes 10 cookies.
