Apple Basket
This simple-to-make gift makes a wonderful surprise—especially for a teacher!

What you'll need:
- 1 bag M&M'S® Brand Milk Chocolate Candies
- 1 18-oz. roll refrigerated sugar cookie dough
- 2/3 cup flour
- 1 16-oz. container vanilla frosting
- Colored decorative sugar, such as red, green and yellow
- 2-1/2-inch round or apple-shaped cookie cutter
What to do:
- Blend the cookie dough and flour together.
- Roll the dough to 1/4-inch thickness on a lightly floured surface.
- Press apple shapes from the cookie dough with a cookie cutter, or press out round cookies and shape them into apples.
- Bake the cookies on a cookie sheet for 12 to 14 minutes in a preheated 350-degree oven.
- Once cooled, ice the cookies with the vanilla frosting. Sprinkle the frosting with the decorative sugar. Attach M&M'S® Brand Milk Chocolate Candies around the outside edge of each cookie.
