Achievement Medal
Sweet rewards for special achievements—medals kids (or you) can make!

What you'll need:
  • Your choice of Mars candies, such as M&M'S® Brand Milk Chocolate Candies, SNICKERS®, MILKY WAY®, TWIX®, SKITTLES®, 3 MUSKETEERS® and STARBURST® Brand FUN SIZE® or Miniatures
  • Wide ribbon
  • Double-sided tape
  • Felt or construction paper
  • Markers
  • Scissors
What to do:
  1. Cut a length of ribbon to fit comfortably over a kid's head.
  2. Gather two ends and place them one over the other, taped together underneath. Then tape a circle cut from paper or felt over this.
  3. Using marker or felt letters, label as "Fastest Runner" or "Best Kid to Toss a Softball With," etc. Embellish the "medallion" with glitter to make it sparkle. Decorate the ribbon by taping on your favorite Mars candy.
  4. Award as a prize for winning a race or doing an activity, or just as a gift for being a special kid.
  5. If in a group of kids, be sure every kid gets a medal!
