What you'll need:
  • 1 pound cake (loaf-style; can be store-bought)
  • 6 oz. evaporated milk
  • 8 oz. heavy whipping cream
  • 1 (14 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk
  • Enough whip topping to cover the cake
  • M&M'S® Brand Milk Chocolate Candies
  • 1/2 cup crushed SKITTLES®
What to do:
  1. Place the cake in a loaf pan (slice out excess edges). With a fork, punch holes in the cake.
  2. In a medium saucepan, mix the three milks and heat over low heat. When the milk mixture is hot, remove it from the stove.
  3. Pour the milk mixture slowly over the cake, being sure to hit all the holes. Refrigerate at least 30 minutes. When chilled, cover the cake with whip topping. Using the M&M’S® Chocolate Candies, write out the New Year in just one color and sprinkle the crushed SKITTLES® on top.
