Lil’ Peas In A Pod
Your guests will be going goo goo over these creative cupcake treats.

Baking time: 18 to 20 min.
Decoration time: 30 min.

What you'll need:
- 2 bags M&M’S® BRAND Milk Chocolate Candies
- 20 Green STARBURST® BRAND Original Fruit Chews
- 1 box (18.25 ounces) favorite chocolate cake mix
- 2 (16-ounce) containers vanilla frosting
- Green food coloring
- 2 regular-sized muffin tins
- 24 paper cupcake liners
- Resealable plastic bag
- Disposable pastry bag, fitted with ribbon tip
What to do:
- Prepare batter according to direction on box. Fill lined muffin tins with batter. Bake in a preheated 350-degree oven for 18-22 minutes. Cool completely.
- Tint frosting green. Spoon 1/2 cup into resealable bag, set aside. Spoon remaining frosting into pastry bag fitted with large ribbon tip.
- Using photo as a guide, arrange 3 cupcakes a line and frost together as one pea pod. Arrange M&M’S® BRAND Milk Chocolate Candies on top of cupcakes. Using pastry bag with ribbon tip, pipe overlapping lines of green frosting, slightly covering some M&M’S® BRAND Milk Chocolate Candies. Snip small corner of resealable bag and pipe on pea pod detail.
- Thinly roll green STARBURST® BRAND Original Fruit Chews and cut into 2? leaf shapes. Use trimmings to create tendrils. Add leaves and tendrils to one end of the pea pod.
