A-B-C Cakes
Go back to basics with this delicious treat. It’s as easy as A-B-C!

What you'll need:
- 1 bag STARBURST® Brand Original Fruit Chews
- 1 bag M&M’S® Brand Milk Chocolate Candies
- 1 box (16-oz.) frozen pound cake
- 2 cans (16-oz. each) vanilla frosting
- Green, yellow, red and blue food coloring
- Resealable plastic sandwich bag
- Fork (candy tool or meat fork)
- Cookie sheet
- Wax paper
- Small alphabet or numbers cookie cutters
What to do:
- Trim crust from pound cake and cut into 8 2-inch cubes.
- Spoon 1/4-cup vanilla frosting into resealable plastic bag, set aside. Divide remaining frosting between 4 microwave-safe, widemouthed bowls. Tint each bowl a desired color using the food coloring.
- Working with one bowl of frosting at a time, heat in microwave for about 15 seconds, or until it is the texture of slightly whipped cream.
- Dip 2 cake cubes, one at a time, in each color. Use the tines of a fork to help coat with frosting. Remove and gently shake off the excess, and place on a wax paper-lined sheet pan. Coat all cubes the same way and refrigerate for about 30 minutes.
- To decorate cubes: Heat several STARBURST® Brand Original Fruit Chews in microwave for about 2-3 seconds to soften slightly. Roll into a small rectangle and cut out letters or numbers with cookie cutters. Attach cutouts and M&M’S® Brand Milk Chocolate Candies to cubes with a dab of white frosting.
