Slithering Sweets
Here’s a creepy creature treat that’s sure to make your Halloween party a scream!

What you'll need:
- 1 bag SNICKERS® Brand FUN SIZE®Candies
- 2 bags M&M’S® Brand Milk Chocolate Candies for Halloween
- 1 18.25-oz. box yellow cake mix
- 12 strands black or red licorice laces
- 2 16-oz. cans vanilla icing
- Orange food coloring
- 2 12-cup cupcake pans
- 24 paper cupcake liners
- Spatula
- 1 Large tray (or 12 x 16-inch piece strong cardboard)
What to do:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line the cupcake pans with the paper cupcake liners.
- Prepare the cake mix according to the package directions. Chop 15 SNICKERS®Brand FUN SIZE® Candies (about 2 cups) and fold them into the batter. Divide the batter evenly between the prepared cupcake pans.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes. Remove from the oven, transfer to a wire rack, and let cool completely.
- Cut the licorice laces into 2-inch pieces; set aside.
- Tint the icing with the orange food coloring and frost all the cupcakes. Set two cupcakes on the side to use later for the creatures’ heads. Begin to completely cover the rest of the cupcakes with M&M’S® Brand Milk Chocolate Candies for Halloween. Press a 2-inch line of licorice laces on the opposite sides of every cupcake to form the creatures® legs.
- Now decorate the two reserved cupcakes. Make a big smile with a line of black M&M’S® Brand Milk Chocolate Candies for Halloween. Then cover the rest of the cupcake with orange M&M’S® Brand Milk Chocolate Candies for Halloween. Cut a SNICKERS® Brand FUN SIZE® Candy in half for each creature’s eyes, and use 2 M&M’S® Brand Milk Chocolate Candies for Halloween for the pupils. Add two licorice laces for the antennae.
- Then, using the photo as a guide, line the cupcakes into the creature shape on a large platter or piece of strong cardboard.
