It’s no secret! These 3-D Easter animals are pretty, great for baskets and place settings, and super-easy for little ones to make.
Prep time: 30 min.
Decoration time: 10 min.
Difficulty: Challenging
What you'll need:
  • 1 bag M&M’S® Brand Milk Chocolate Candies for Easter, STARBURST® Brand Jellybeans, or SKITTLES® Bite Size Candies for Easter
  • 1 bag M&M’S® Brand Milk Chocolate Speckled Eggs
  • 2 squares plastic wrap
  • 1 12-inch strand thin ribbon
  • 1 20 x 20-inch square colored cellophane
  • Clear tape and double-sided tape
  • 1 sheet pink construction paper (for bunny) or 1 2-inch triangle orange construction paper and 3 yellow feathers (for chick)
What to do:
  1. Lay the plastic wrap squares flat on the counter. Put 1/2 cup of candy into the center of one square and 1 cup of candy into the center of the second square.
  2. Gather the sides up and around the candy, twisting them into balls. Tape the balls closed and trim off any excess plastic wrap.
  3. Lay the cellophane flat on the counter.
  4. Put the small (head) ball in the center of the cellophane. Tightly gather the sides of cellophane around the ball and tie it off with ribbon.
  5. Nest the second ball (body) right up against the head and gather the cellophane around the body. Tape it shut.
  6. Turn the beanbag over and adjust the candy so it will stand.
