M&M’S® Tasty Ornament Treats
Spruce up your tree with colorful Christmas ornaments that’ll make your little elves want to celebrate!

What you'll need:
- 1 bag M&M’S ® Brand Milk Chocolate Candies for the Holidays
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 1 10-oz. package miniature marshmallows
- 6 cups crispy rice cereal
- 1 16-oz. can ready-to-spread vanilla frosting
- Wax paper
- 3 6-inch pieces red ribbon
What to do:
- Melt butter in a saucepan over low heat. Add marshmallows and stir until completely melted. Remove from heat and stir in the crispy rice cereal.
- Scoop 1/3 of the mixture onto wax paper, and quickly begin forming a ball about 3 inches in diameter with your hands. (Holiday Hint: Before forming, spray hands with cooking spray to avoid sticking.)
- Loop one piece of ribbon, and gently press the two ends into the top of the crispy rice ball, leaving approximately a 2-inch loop of ribbon exposed. Reshape the ball if needed.
- Repeat steps 2 and 3 to form two additional ornaments.
- Coat the entire crispy rice ball with frosting, and then adhere M&M’S® Brand Milk Chocolate Candies to the formed crispy rice ball ornament until completely covered. (Holiday Hint: Mix it up and make fun designs with M&M’S® Brand Milk Chocolate Candies for the Holidays.)
- Set aside until firm to the touch.
