Pirate Map Invitations
For perfect pirate party invitations write the party details on a scroll of paper and carefully burn the edges to give it an aged look. Draw a small map with a large red X to mark your home address. Roll it up and slip it inside the neck of a bottle and then hand deliver it to your guests. You can even wear a pirate's hat and eye patch when you knock on their door.
Swashbuckling Swords
A pirate party isn't complete without swords! But you have to make them safe. Simply cut sword shapes out of cardboard and wrap the blades in aluminum foil. Use a black marker to color the handles and voila, you've got safe swords for all of your pint-sized pirates.
Jewel Cubes
Every pirate loves jewels, so add them to your punch bowl! Just freeze some fruit punch, grape juice, and lemonade in ice cube trays the night before. Then dump the different colored ice jewels into a bowl of punch for the party. Tell the kids you found the tasty jewels on your last pirate adventure.
