Go Back To A Time Of Adventure For Young Knights and Fair Maidens!
A regal coat of arms is a delicious way to celebrate
Who can pose the longest as a scray or silly statue?
Dragons will cower in fear whey they see this mightily delicious sword
Castle Fit for a King or Queen Turn your home into a royal court! Cut out shapes of long trumpets, banners and coats of arms and tape them around the room. Cut out the shape of a castle and display it above your front door. Make a “moat” on the floor out of blue paper and make a “bridge” out of brown paper. Make sure everyone crosses the bridge to enter the party.
Fire-Breathing Fun Pin the Fire on the Dragon. Tack up a drawing of a fearsome dragon. Give each child a cutout of billowing, fiery “dragon’s breath” with a pushpin on one end. Blindfold each child in turn, spin them around and point them toward the dragon. Whoever pins the breath closest to the dragon’s nose is the winner.
Naming Ceremony Dub each partygoer with a Medieval title. First ask each child a few questions to determine his or her royal name. For example, a boy who likes animals could be Sir Kevin the Lion-Hearted, a girl who likes swimming could be Lady Isabella of the Lake. Have kids make coats of arms with their new names!
